Our Daily Bread

Key objectives of the MLC Alumni Tour are to provide opportunities to grow in the Word, to let our light shine, and to encourage one another. We're blessed to have MLC Professor Steve Thiesfeldt along to lead us in daily devotions. We'll also have the privilege to worship with our fellow WELS believers at Beautiful Savior, Cincinnati, OH. Those returning with us to New Ulm on Sunday, June 24 will also enjoy worship at Grace, Milwaukee, WI.

In addition to feeding our faith, our bodies will also be well fed. Along with complimentary breakfast at our hotels each morning, the tour cost covers 2 lunches and 3-4 dinners. Other meals will be on your own and will allow you the freedom to choose what you eat and what you spend. You'll also be provided with complimentary bottled water and snacks on the bus throughout the tour.

Grace
Milwaukee, WI

We'll begin our June 18 Father's Day worshipping our Father in heaven with WELS brothers and sisters at Beautiful Savior, Cincinnati, OH. As always, we'll be blessed with faithful preaching of the gospel and Lord willing, the members will be encouraged by our presence.

For those returning on the coach with us on June 25, we'll enjoy another opportunity to worship our God, meet fellow believers, and enjoy Christian fellowship at Grace in downtown Milwaukee.

Dinners will be served on the Creation Museum's outdoor deck, at the Lexington Horse Park, as well as a mystery sunset dinner at a surprise location in Louisville. Complimentary bottled water and snacks are provided on the bus. All other meals are on your own.

Steve has faithfully served MLC since its inception in 1995. In addition to serving as the Vice President for Administration, he also teaches in the Science division. Always seeking to give God the glory he deserves for His amazing work of creation and preservation, Steve will lead devotions and also provide helpful commentary and background on some of the marvels we will be blessed to view.

After graduating in MLC's "first class" in 1996, Greg was assigned to serve as a Science teacher at Great Plains Lutheran High School in Watertown, SD. He accepted a call to serve as Science professor at MLC in 2012 and enjoys helping future teachers to "stop and consider God's wonders." Greg will join Steve Thiesfeldt sharing insights and leading devotions.

Mike served as a parish pastor in Ohio, Oklahoma, and Minnesota before accepting a call to serve as Vice President for Mission Advancement at MLC. His work involves extensive travel throughout the US to share the important ministry of MLC. He'll feed us our daily bread from God's Word while serving as our primary devotion leader.
